During the first week of November a deer took out one of our apple trees at the graft union. We took some of the branches from the part that snapped off to graft onto the rootstock. It most likely won't survive the winter but it will be interesting to see if by a small chance it does.
We've also painted our tree trunks white for the winter to prevent sunscald.
And our asparagus (a cold weather crop) is looking great!
